Fastly - Removing domains from service and shared cert

before you begin

search prod to see if a domain exists on our prod service. any domains that were added through our old shared cert workflow will not have an entry on the service and will only need to be removed from the HTTPS and Network section. If the domain IS NOT on the service start with Step 3

Steps

  1. check the service configuration - ensure that a version of the service isn't actively being worked on... if one is check in with that user and ensure that you can work on it and activate it.
    1b. If there is not already an active clone, then clone a version of prod service and then search for the domain you want to remove and delete it following fastly's instructions shown in the popup.
  2. activate the version.
  3. navigate to HTTPS and Network.
  4. Select TLS Subscriptions
  5. Search for the domain(s) you just removed from the service in step 1.
  6. Click manage subscription
  7. Click the trash can icon on the right and follow fastly's instructions for verifying that you want to remove that domain(s).
  8. submit your changes
